The 4th of July

We started our day off with a pancake breakfast put on by my parent's church.  Eli and Noah are always up for some sausage.  :)  The pancakes are yummy too!

In the afternoon we had family and friends over for grillin and chillin!  It was so much fun!

Eli has a love/hate relationship with fireworks.  He loves buying them and wants to light them off, but he hates the noise they make.  We used his swim earplugs to help muffle the noise.  He was so excited to stay up late and see all of the big ones.  Daddy and Eli made some good choices at the firework stores.  The rocket parachute was a favorite!

Noah and Papa ready for the show.

This is how Eli watched most of the loud ones.

Today is also a special day because it was Noah's first 4th of July.  A year ago on this day (not exactly sure of the time- it confuses me too much).  We were meeting this amazing little boy and becoming a family of 4.  God has blessed us this year!   Happy 4th of July, Noah!  We love you!!
