Eli has been so excited to carve a pumpkin for Halloween. He asks me every day. We decided to take the plunge on Saturday. We had a blast! Eli wasn't too sure about cleaning out the inside of the pumpkin. It was too "icky." His face shows it all. We decided to try the trace and cut method this year. Eli wanted to make a scary one, but we opted for the happy face. Eli was very helpful throughout the whole process. He loved the jack-o-lantern and thought lighting it up was pretty cool.
After we finished the jack-0-lantern, he decided to make a mummy pumpkin. He spent the next 30 minutes wrapping a small pumpkin in scotch tape. It turned out super cute.
