Eli started soccer today. The league we joined has a special program for 3-4 year olds. They practice and perform drills the first half and scrimmage the last half. There are no teams, just fun. Eli has been really excited to play (just like Chloe and Nathan - his cousins). When we got there, he wasn't so sure. There were a lot of kids there. He did a great job for his very first try at team sports. He tried to dribble the ball and did some kicking. When we asked him if he had fun he said, "but mommy someone pushed me down." He got pushed during his scrimmage and couldn't quite let it go. :D All in all, it was a success, and we look forward to more soccer this fall and spring.
