Worlds of Fun and Oceans of Fun

We just got home from a mini-vacation. Scott took a couple days of vacation, and we drove down to Kansas City. We decided to try going to Worlds of Fun and Oceans of Fun. Eli had a blast and so did we! It was a great weekend, but we were all ready to sleep in our own beds on Saturday night.

Eli had a blast at the water park. He loved the water slides, the lazy river and the wave pool. He had so much fun swimming and sliding all day. Scott and I even had fun. The lazy river is my kind of ride. It wasn't too busy either, so it wasn't over crowded.

The Splash Pad - Eli wasn't too sure about this place. It had too much spraying water. We all got drenched within seconds of going in.

On Friday, we went to Worlds of Fun. Eli really wanted to ride the roller coasters. I think we have a dare devil on our hands. He had a blast riding the rides all day. Once again, the park was not crowded, so we didn't have to wait in many lines. Here were some of Eli's favorite rides.

Eli also enjoyed riding the rides in Camp Snoopy. We did not think he would want to ride any by himself, but he suprised us. He walked right into line, waited his turn, jumped into his seat, and tried to buckle himself in. It was so cute. Everytime he finished a ride, he would say "Do it again."
